Hi! I am Shao Kan Lan and you can just call me Perry. I am from Taiwan, Taipei and I really love to play almost any type of sport. I will say that I am a really fast learner and love new challenges. I used to work in the new media industry where I was responsible for Youtube channels and using the background data to discover our potential clients. I also worked as a marketing assistant to communicate with foreign clients and managers to speculate our product's sales. I love to go to the beach and hiking, I hope one day I can learn how to ski here in Boston. This is my first term in Northeastern studying Digital Media and I hope to keep learning more from you guys!
I don't really have a dream job, just step by step and eventually I'll reach my goal.
I don't really have a carrer goal yet, growing up in a family where my parents are both really successful in their field just makes me think more about what I really want to do. After a few internships in different new media and traditional media firms, I'm still trying to figure out what is really my interest and what I really want to work on. I believe working for something that can give you satisfaction and a sense of achievement is more important than money, so I will keep seeking what I love and accept every challenge in my life!
